    Today marks the beginning of your journey. Whether you’re on a local or international flight, you’ll depart from your home country en route to Africa. Sit back, relax, and let the anticipation build as you head toward the adventure of a lifetime.

    Tonight, you’ll be on your overnight flight, dreaming of the African horizons awaiting you.

     
  • Day 2: Welcome to Cape Town

    16:00 – Your Rovos Rail journey begins as the train departs Cape Town Station, making its way through the picturesque Cape Winelands toward Worcester. Settle into your suite and prepare for a timeless rail experience.

    16:30 – Enjoy a relaxing afternoon tea in the elegant lounge or observation car, with sweeping views of vineyards and mountains unfolding outside your window.

    19:30 – Dinner is served in the luxurious dining cars. Delight in a multi-course, fine-dining experience as the train ascends ±750 metres up the face of the escarpment. Dress code: Formal.

    08:00 – Disembark for a guided stroll through the charming Victorian village of Matjiesfontein. A national heritage site, this beautifully preserved town offers a step back in time.
