  • Day 2: Welcome to Cape Town – Where Adventure Begins

    Touch down in the vibrant Mother City, where your personal guide will be waiting to welcome you with warm South African hospitality. After a smooth transfer and a quick refresh at your hotel, your journey kicks off with a taste of Cape Town’s charm. Wander through the leafy paths of the historic Company’s Garden and admire the colonial elegance of City Hall.

    If the skies are clear, soar up Table Mountain by cable car—an unforgettable ride revealing sweeping views of the city, the shimmering Atlantic, and the legendary Robben Island. As the sun begins to dip, head to Signal Hill for a golden-hour panorama that captures the magic of Cape Town in one breathtaking moment.

  • Day 3: Cape Peninsula Adventure

     

    Today, embark on one of the world’s most scenic drives along the Atlantic coastline. Your first stop is the charming fishing village of Hout Bay, where a boat cruise to Duiker Island brings you up close to a bustling colony of Cape fur seals.

    Next, enjoy an inspiring visit to T-Bag Designs, where Avuyile and Sandiseka will welcome you into a creative space that transforms recycled tea bags into beautiful, hand-painted artwork—an uplifting community project rooted in township pride and resilience.

    The journey continues along the breathtaking Chapman’s Peak Drive, winding past Noordhoek Beach, with its endless stretch of white sand and wild Atlantic views. Arrive at the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, where you can either ride the funicular or hike up to the old lighthouse for sweeping views—or take a scenic trail to Cape Point, the dramatic tip of the peninsula where two oceans meet.

    Next, explore the spice-scented streets of the Bo-Kaap, Cape Town’s colorful Cape Malay district. Step into Waheeb’s kitchen, where you’ll roll up your sleeves and help prepare fragrant Cape Malay dishes—rich with history and flavor. Then sit down and enjoy the fruits of your culinary adventure, shared with your gracious hosts.

    In the afternoon, pass through the scenic Cape Winelands, dotted with vineyards and historic estates, en route to Stellenbosch—South Africa’s second-oldest town and wine capital. Stroll along Dorp Street, home to the country’s highest concentration of national monuments. Don’t miss the charming Village Museum and a stop at the quirky old-world grocer, Oom Samie se Winkel.

    In the afternoon, dive into Karoo farm life with a guided tour where you'll meet ostriches up close and learn about local traditions and breeding practices.

    Spend your midday hours relaxing at the lodge or by the pool. As the afternoon sets in, hop into a jeep for a short drive to the riverbank. From there, cruise along the Kariega River for about 90 minutes, guided by a wildlife expert. Watch the skies and riverbanks for the Goliath Heron, Kingfishers, and other birdlife in their natural habitat.

    In the evening, gather around the boma for a traditional South African dinner under the stars—an unforgettable way to celebrate your last night on safari.
