Itinerary
  • Summary

Discover the breathtaking beauty of Cape Town on our Full Day Cape Peninsula Tour. Explore pristine white-sand beaches, meet the charming African penguins at Boulders Beach, marvel at dramatic mountain landscapes, and stand in awe at the iconic Cape Point. Experience the Mother City’s finest sights in one unforgettable day.

  • Clifton and Camps Bay

Clifton and Camps Bay, nestled along Cape Town’s Atlantic Seaboard, boast Blue Flag beaches with soft white sand and crystal-clear waters. These iconic shores attract both locals and visitors, making them a top summer destination. Stroll the vibrant Camps Bay Strip, lined with trendy restaurants, stylish bars, the iconic Bay Hotel, palm trees, and lively street performers, all set against a dazzling ocean backdrop.

  • Hout Bay and Seal Island

Hout Bay, affectionately known as the "Republic of Hout Bay," feels like a charming world of its own. This picturesque fishing village boasts a stunning beach, fresh seafood, and the vibrant Bay Harbour Market. Optional boat trips take you to see the playful seal colony on Duiker Island. From Hout Bay, embark on the iconic Chapman’s Peak Drive—9 kilometers of breathtaking coastal road with 114 curves, offering panoramic viewpoints, picnic stops, and the chance to spot whales or dolphins in season.

  • Cape of Good Hope

Cape Point is one of South Africa’s most iconic attractions, and it’s easy to see why. Situated at the tip of the Cape Peninsula, this spectacular nature reserve features dramatic cliffs, diverse flora and fauna, and sweeping vistas. Spot over 250 bird species, baboons, antelope, and the Cape Mountain Zebra. Visit the legendary Cape of Good Hope and pay tribute to explorers Vasco da Gama and Bartolomeu Dias. No Cape Town experience is complete without it.

  • Penguin Colony and Simons Town

Boulders Beach offers a truly unique experience—one of the few places on earth where you can share the shoreline with African penguins. From just two breeding pairs in the 1980s, the colony has flourished to over 3,000 penguins. Nearby, Simon’s Town—home to the South African Navy—charms visitors with its rich maritime history, bustling harbor, and attractions like the Navy Museum and Warrior Toy Museum. You can even catch a glimpse of docked frigates and submarines.

(Penguin viewing: R245 conservation fee for adults)

  • Kalk Bay

Nestled between the mountains and the False Bay coastline, Kalk Bay exudes charm with its vibrant Main Road. Here you’ll find eclectic antique stores, vintage bookshops, bakeries, and the iconic Brass Bell restaurant, all set along cobbled streets. This seaside gem is also a prime spot for whale watching from June to November. Though we’ll drive by, Kalk Bay’s unique energy leaves a lasting impression.

  • Muizenberg

Muizenberg is a world-famous surfing beach where locals and visitors come together to celebrate Cape Town’s ocean culture. Known for its iconic colourful beach huts, gentle waves, and laid-back vibe, this False Bay hotspot is lined with surf schools, cafés, and seaside eateries. Dedicated shark spotters help ensure swimmer safety while adding to the unique character of the bay. (Drive-by)
