An early departure from your hotel ensures maximum time at sea, increasing the likelihood of encountering the legendary Great White shark in its natural habitat. Upon arrival in Gansbaai, a hearty breakfast is served, allowing you to relax knowing your morning is well taken care of.
Following a comprehensive safety and security briefing, you will board the vessel for a journey to the world-famous Shark Alley, where this iconic marine experience unfolds just offshore.

Once anchored at the legendary Shark Alley, you’ll have the opportunity to observe a rich marine ecosystem in action—from Cape fur seals and abundant birdlife to Southern Right whales that visit these waters during the season (July to November), and, of course, the iconic Great White shark.
A wetsuit and diving mask are provided before you enter the cage, which is securely attached to the vessel and floats alongside it. From the safety of the cage, you’ll share the water with this awe-inspiring predator, experiencing an encounter that is both thrilling and responsibly managed. Time spent in the cage typically ranges between 10 and 30 minutes, depending on weather conditions and shark activity. No prior diving experience is required.

After completing your cage diving experience and returning to Gansbaai harbour, you’ll have time to unwind and relive the highlights of the day while watching footage captured during the dive. Enjoy a well-earned lunch as the team concludes the experience.
On request, a certificate of participation can be issued—an ideal keepsake to share this remarkable adventure with friends and family.

Following the debrief, you’ll be transferred comfortably back to Cape Town.
