    Welcome to South Africa! Upon arrival at the airport, your personal tour guide will greet you with warm hospitality before transferring you to the vibrant seaside suburb of Sea Point.     Today, your journey continues as you cross the border into Namibia at the Noordoewer border post. Here, you’ll switch to a comfortable off-road vehicle and meet your Namibian tour guide, who will accompany you through the next leg of your adventure.

    Enjoy a scenic drive to your lodge near the Fish River Canyon, one of Namibia’s most awe-inspiring natural wonders. Although smaller than the Grand Canyon, it is the second largest canyon in the world, stretching 160 km in length and plunging up to 550 meters deep. The exposed rock layers tell a story over a billion years old.

    According to ancient San legend, the canyon’s dramatic curves were carved by the mythical snake Kouteign Kooru, as it twisted and turned in a desperate attempt to escape captivity.
